Cumberland Development Agreement Signed
Cumberland Country Golf Club Moves Forward
After extensive collaboration and consultation with Cumberland Country Golf Club and their members, Pariter are excited to announce the recent signing of the Development Agreement that will allow us to deliver a new retirement living precinct on club grounds.
Subject to relevant approvals, this active retirement community will include well-considered connections between the golf course, wellness centre, communal gardens and the senior’s living village that will form part of the overall development.
“Through this partnership, we are excited to create a state-of-the-art retirement community that will offer an array of amenities that nurture physical and emotional wellbeing for both club members and future residents”, said John Innes, Pariter’s CEO.
“Each of the independent apartments will be equipped with modern amenities and conveniences, allowing residents to enjoy their retirement to the fullest”.
The amenities of the club will be refreshed through the construction of a new clubhouse with outstanding bistro, bar and dining areas with extensive al fresco balconies overlooking the new course layout and lake. Whilst the golf course will be reconfigured to offer an enhanced playing experience for its members and guests and will include an upgraded pro shop, café, buggy storage, locker rooms and high-tech practice facilities.
“By revitalising the Club’s facilities, we know their members and future residents will find true comfort within this exciting new precinct. There will be something for everyone to pursue their passions and discover new interests”.
Cumberland Club President, Denis Clifford said “this is an exciting time for our club. The commercial terms of this agreement will replace our aging facilities and give us a new clubhouse with spectacular views over the golf course, a revitalised 18-hole golf course and financial security for well into the future”.
Of the retirement village complex he said, “the proposed residential complex will be great for the area and give people the option to downsize and enjoy a retirement lifestyle with modern facilities. We are a community club and a new clubhouse will enhance our ability to provide a friendly, safe environment for members, village residents and visitors alike”.
