Introducing Salus Mingara: Life, well placed.

Pariter and Mingara Leisure Group have unveiled Salus Mingara, the new identity for a thoughtfully designed retirement living community within the established Mingara precinct at Tumbi Umbi on the NSW Central Coast.

The unveiling marks an important milestone in a partnership and introduces the vision that will shape the next chapter of the project.

At its heart is a simple idea: Life, well placed.

Salus Mingara has been created around the belief that retirement living should enable people to continue enjoying the connections, routines and communities that already enrich their lives.

Rather than creating a standalone retirement community, Salus Mingara will be integrated next to the broader Mingara precinct – bringing together thoughtfully designed residences, dedicated resident amenities and the extensive facilities, activities and the social opportunity already available at Mingara Recreation Club.

A partnership grounded in community

The project brings together Mingara Leisure Group’s deep connection to the Central Coast community with Pariter’s specialist retirement living development and operational expertise.

Pariter’s CEO, Tom Roche said the alignment between the two organisations had been central to shaping the project.

“Our partnership with Mingara was a natural fit because both organisations share a long-term commitment to place and community,” Tom said.

“From the beginning, our focus has been on creating a community that feels genuinely connected to its surroundings that feels genuinely connected to its surroundings and to the people who will call it home.”

“Salus Mingara is about providing beautiful homes but equally about wellbeing, belonging and making it easier for people to continue living the life they enjoy.”

Mingara CEO Grant Gladman said the community represented a natural evolution of Mingara’s long-standing role on the Central Coast.

“Mingara has always been a place where people come together – to stay active, connect and enjoy life,” Grant said.

“Salus Mingara builds on that foundation. It will give people the opportunity to remain part of the community they know, while living in an environment designed around their needs.”

Designed for the next chapter

With planning approval secured, Salus Mingara will include 215 retirement living apartments and villas complemented by purpose-designed resident amenities, extensive landscaping and dedicated resident parking, as well as wider precinct upgrades.

The community also includes a future aged care component designed to support greater continuity of care as residents’ needs change.

The Salus Mingara brand has been developed to reflect this broader approach to retirement living – one centred not simple on where people live, but on how they want to live.

Life, well placed captures the advantage of being connected to an established community, while creating a place specifically designed to support wellbeing, independence and belonging.

The unveiling marks the beginning of the next phase for the project, with further details about the residences, lifestyle and community to be shared in the coming months.
