The result represents an encouraging early indicator for the project, with registrations secured ahead of the release of detailed floorplans and pricing.

Held at Mingara Recreation Club in Tumbi Umbi on 23 and 24 August, the expo attracted approximately 600 attendees and brought together retirement living, land lease and over-55s operators from across the region.

Of the 74 registrations received by Salus Mingara, 88 per cent came from people already living on the Central Coast. Almost half were from postcode 2261, which includes Tumbi Umbi, Killarney Vale, Bateau Bay, The Entrance and Long Jetty.

The strong local representation supports the vision behind Salus Mingara: providing an opportunity for people to remain within the community and region they know, while moving into a home and lifestyle designed for their next chapter.

Early conversations also revealed particularly strong interest in the project's proposed villa offering.

For Pariter, the expo provided an important opportunity to engage directly with prospective residents well ahead of the project's formal sales campaign and gather insights into the factors influencing retirement living decisions.

Conversations covered housing preferences, accommodation requirements, pricing expectations and the information people need to confidently consider a move into retirement living.

These insights will now help inform the next stage of the project's engagement, communications and release strategy as more detailed information about Salus Mingara becomes available.

Salus Mingara is being delivered by Pariter in partnership with Mingara Leisure Group and will form part of the broader Mingara precinct at Tumbi Umbi on the NSW Central Coast.

The project will continue its community engagement program over the coming months as it progresses towards its next major milestones.
