Pariter and Mingara share a vision that, equally and together, we will develop and operate a retirement living village adjacent to the existing and extensive facilities at Mingara Recreation Club, that will make a significant contribution to the quality of community life in Tumbi Umbi.
Design & Development
Nestled at the base of the picturesque surrounding hills, the project is conceived with a connection to Country through the narratives “Plenty of Water, Ngura Archives and Traversing Country”. Carefully woven into all aspects of the design, the village includes:
- 219 independent living units (ILUs)
- 39 high care suites
- 700m2 of communal facilities, including a café, bar, multi-purpose and consulting rooms
- 7,500m2 of communal open space
- Re-vegetation, naturalisation and activation of surrounding drainage easements
Environmental Initiatives
The project will deliver a responsible, forward thinking and sustainable community. Initiatives will be continuously developed, and currently include solar power generation, rainwater collection and re-use, planting hundreds of trees, and passive building design and landscape features.
Project Status
Currently under planning assessment with the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.
